Now that we have learned how to balance the first we should learn how the balance the second chakra! The second chakra is located at the womb or genitals, the second chakra has to do with sexuality, emotions, and creativity. When you balance this chakra, you begin to perceive the connection between sex and creation and your emotions. Your second chakra has to do with a creative drive that is essence of success and failure. Although they appear separate, they are merely different polarities of the same thing, of Oneness. Balancing the second chakra is essential for mediation and journeying as well.
Need:
orange candle
sensuous or calming music
a stone such as red jasper, bloodstone, fluorite or cat's eye
Begin by lighting the candle and dedicating it to the divine energy of sensuality and creation. Put on some music that lends itself to the mood. Hood the stone in your power hand, place it on your second chakra, and say:
You are the force that runs between flower and seed,
You are the energy that fulfills my every need,
I am you and you are me, and we all are together,
We are part of that divine that lives forever,
We are one! Blessed Be!
As you stare into the flame of the candle, imagine all of your sexual and creative forces coming into together into a strong and powerful current, like a river. You can move this energy toward any creative projects you might have, such as sewing a dress, writing a poem, or starting a new business.
