Friendship Talisman
Need:
pen
strawberry scented candle
bowl of cool salt water (sea salt)
piece of citrine
Rinse the candle with the cool water to rid it of any unwanted energies. Cleanse your circle and call in the elements and powers. Then use the pen to write the words Helpful Friend on the candle. Light the candle, dedicating it to a helpful friend that you have or would like to have. Simply say:
I dedicate this candle to (person's name)
Hold the stone in your power hand. Empower it by saying:
By the powers of the earth, air, fire, and water
Great Goddess and God (Great spirit), bless my friendship with (person's name)
Thank you for bringing such as helpful friend to me.
By the powers of earth, air, fire, and water
Empower this stone with our lucky and joyful friendship
By the Lady and the Lord (Great spirit), blessed be!
Hold the stone between yourself and the candle flame so the light illuminates the stone. Gaze into the stone and start to imagine all of the ways you can help your friend and the many ways your friend can help you. Continue gazing into the stone and imagine sharing good times, having fun, and feeling happy and peaceful when spending time together. Feel the joy of your friendship. Do this for a few moments. When you are finished, bid farewell to the elements or spirits and close your circle.
Give your friend the citrine the next time you see them. Tell your friend that it's a friendship talisman.
