Need:
living tree
bowl of water (not salted)
Go outdoors and when you have drawn your circle to include you and the tree and it's roots. Walk clockwise around the circle and sprinkle it with drops of water from the bowl. Stand next to the tree, and repeat the following blessing:
O great and mighty tree
Bless me with your love,
Young and old, strong and free
Reaching up for the light above,
Blessed be, so mote it be!
Next, pour any water left in the bowl on the base of the tree. Put the bowl down, and lean your body against the tree with your palms touching the bark. Imagine the loving wisdom of the tree and flowing into your palms and body. Close your eyes and breathe in the love of the tree for a few minutes. When you are done, thank the tree and close the circle.
Repeat this charm as often as you like!!
